Day 0

It took me quite a while to finally fall asleep last night after my first post. There was so much going on in my brain with tons of plans for this detox and everything after, it's like it wouldn't shut down. Needless to say, I didn't wake up until about 12pm-ish. My husband was sweet enough to have walked the dog and have lunch ready for me when I got out of the shower. We spent a great, relaxing day together lounging on the couch and watching football with a little bit of cleaning up around the house in between. We ordered a little Chinese food about mid-evening as kind of a snack. We had some friends over for the late game tonight and they were nice enough to bring my "last meal" home from a great restaurant in town. It was amazing! (I'll list the menu for today below.)

No measurements or weight today as I can't seem to find my scale or measuring tape. I'm guessing I hid it from myself the last time we moved. The scale and I don't get along too well. I don't have a digital scale - just a regular dial one - so it would drive me crazy to not be able to see the little amount of weight I'd lost each day. It kind of got me discouraged and I would usually quit. It doesn't help that I usually had little to no motivation. I'm really excited about this though. I will have the scale and tape out tomorrow since I have to go through a lot of the boxes I still haven't unpacked. This is great because it will provide me with a major project to keep my mind off food. I like to eat when I'm bored and will look forward to staying as busy as possible.

Anyway...onto the menu! (all meal times were really off since I woke up late so the food may not make sense)

Breakfast:
Grilled chicken sandwich with mayo, lettuce, salt & pepper

Lunch:
Small bowl of chicken with broccoli over white rice w/soy sauce. Cup of sliced watermelon and one miniature Snicker's bar.

Dinner:
Steak tips with sauteed onions & mushrooms in a Marsala wine sauce with red mashed potatoes.

Dessert:
Bowl of Sorbet.

Beverages:
Water, Coke & Iced Tea though out the day.

Hopefully I'll be able to sleep much better tonight but I have a feeling I may be up for a midnight snack of the leftover steak tips and mashed potatoes. It's one of my favorite meals :) If I do - I will make an edit.

Everyone wish me luck tomorrow!!
